Material advantage

7% low nickel, 3% low molybdenum content, by adding Cr element, 0.3% N content to match 254SMO corrosion resistance. Material weaknesses

In duplex steel, the base material generally exists in 50% phase state of ferrite and austenite. The equilibrium relationship between ferrite and austenite in welded joints is affected not only by alloying element content in steel, but also by filling metal, welding thermal cycle and protective gas. After the influence of N, pay attention to the root crack. Multilayer welding should also pay attention to the temperature between layers and stress relief heat treatment after welding.
